The mother's mitt was soft and it did indeed hold an ideal amount of soapy water. However, I had to give it two stars because the product description clearly stated that this would be lint-free. MY GOODNESS, the amount of lint this thing produces seems excessive. The lint was everywhere. Keep in mind that typically sheep/lamb mitts don't have a long lifespan, but I expected a little more than 2 washes. The effort of having to rinse the lint from the car and to get the lint off of the grit guards, buckets, etc was simply not worth it to me. I have a second Mothers Mitt so I will see if this was a fluke with next's week wash. I'll update the review accordingly.UPDATE 7/12: Tried to second mitt. Still a ton of lint in the water even with the Grit Guard. Not nearly as much on the car as the first mitt. I would not...
