Product Description
This easy to use, inexpensive Glue Puller Kit allows for simple, cost efficient removal of small to medium dents/dings on all panels of your vehicle. More and more, light gauge sheet metal is being used in the construction of vehicles. You can actually dent many new cars by simply leaning against them. Dent Out Glue puller kits allow the do-it-your-selfers, a professional option to expensive dent removal services. No need to access the underside of the panel. Each unique kit offers a tool for specific damage. With three kits available, they encompass all types of dent repair. Simply apply a bead of glue to the pulling nib and affix the nib to the lowest area of the dent. The tool slips over the threaded stud. A wing nut tool is threaded down pulling the metal up. Once the dent is pulled out, a couple of drops of release agent is applied to the glue and the pulling nib comes right off. Use only on OEM baked finishes. This product will not damage your factory finish.

- Easy to use
- Cost effective and saves time

29 of 29 people found the following review helpful Effective, but with a big flaw, This review is from: Dent Out Cross Bar Ding Repair Kit This is pretty good for removing dents, as other reviewers have commented. I would say it removes about 80% of a dent. It is better at removing circular dents than vertical dents though. There is also one big drawback... While the actual dent removal is quick, cleaning the glue from the rubber pulling nib afterwards is difficult and very time consuming, even after applying the release agent. I spent far more time just trying to get the glue off than in actually removing dents! What's worse, the yellow glue (for use between temperatures of 55 and 75 degrees) has a tendency to stick to the car surface itself, requiring a round of elbow grease to remove. Don't use this if you are queasy about your car's paint! The red glue (for use between 75 and 90 degrees) is easier to work with. Now if they could make the pulling nibs disposable and include a few dozen of them in the package, that would be a very worthwhile improvement to this product. 37 of 39 people found the following review helpful Great little tool!, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Dent Out Cross Bar Ding Repair Kit I put an embarrassing dent in the gas tank of my new Harley and was determined to fix it myself rather than buying a new tank. I got this dent repair kit today and can highly recommend it: it pulled the dent almost completely out so that now you have to look for the damage to see it.A couple of observations: pay attention to the temperature you'll be working in; give the glue time a little extra time to set before trying to pull the dent; and the larger puller works better than the smaller one, which had a tendency to pull loose from the glue under pressure. I made two pulls - one to pull out the biggest dent and a second to pull a residual smaller dent. The result isn't perfect but not only is it much better than having the dent, this tool did a much better job than I thought it would. This kit is easy to use and well worth the money. I'd highly recommend it for small do-it-yourself dent repairs. 12 of 12 people found the following review helpful Worked great!, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Dent Out Cross Bar Ding Repair Kit I was surprised how well this worked. First, follow the directions very carefully. Don't use the tool in direct sunlight, and pay attention to which glue color you should use. I did this in the early evening during the summer, and can say that the red glue works well at 80 degrees. Second, clean both the dent and the puller with the release agent just prior to applying the glue. Following those instructions were key, and I was able to pull out two large dents and a number of smaller ones. This device pulled out one large dent completely, and made another much smaller and less noticeable. Repeated pulls on the same location also work well if you clean the tool and dent between uses.Overall, very pleased with the results. Saved me a lot of money. |
