(Automotive) I'm not a car snob, until last week I drove a gray 2000 Ford Taurus, which I didn't take the greatest care of when it came to cleaning. I got a new (to me) Camry and decided I'd start things off right and buy the cleaning products needed. Now I know soap's differ but I wasn't sold on one being 100x times better than the next. I know Meguiars stuff gets heavy praise from the car enthusiasts, so I figured I'd try this. It is about twice the price of the Armor All soap, but it'll last me 32 washes so it's not really that much more expensive. Now my Camry looks good, so I haven't washed it yet. But my Taurus, that's another story. I haven't washed it in a long time, and we've had a decent amount of rain lately. Did I mention I park under a tree that houses a whole bunch of crappy birds (no pun) the car is gray so it doesn't show dirt from afar, but when you get close it looked a hot mess.Back to this soap, I was very impressed with how well it worked, I instantly noticed how... (Automotive) like some of the others I thought (wrongly so) that generic parts store soap would do just as well as Meguiars. WRONG WRONG WRONG! ! ! My baby ('97 BLACK Cobra SVT) saw the difference the very 1st wash. Meguiars Gold works faster and better and the cost per was works out about the same, and the difference in the looks is huge, like u just did a quick detail to the paint. |
