(Automotive) I live in a semi-rural area and travel county roads that are swarming with flying insects around dusk. As a result, the front of my 2011 Ford F150 and to some extent, my Harley, have a collection of splattered bugs that you would not believe. I have tried washing them off, with some success, but needed something serious to completely address the problem. Which is why a bought a can of the Prestone AS355. Washed the truck and motorcycle this weekend and used half the can. Wet the vehicles down, sprayed on a quantity sufficient to completely coat the affected area, waited a few minutes then went after it with a soft bristle brush. The bug debris melted off like butter in a microwave. Also areas of road tar, a lesser problem to the bug debris but still significant. Unbelievable. I was worried it would eat my clear coat, I mean anything strong enough to do that to bug guts must be damaging my paint, right? Wrong.
