I discovered Spray Nine in the Midwest working in a strange warehouse where life made little sense to me. In the process of this transitional period of time...I have one amazing and salient beacon of reason shining as a lamp to forever mark this time as having a purpose. The discovery of Spray nine. You have to try it to believe it...anything, and I mean any stain that nothing can take out...a little warm water and Spray Nine..and its gone. Nothing, dry cleaning fluid, Simple Green, Spray and Wash..nothing comes close to this. I have resotred cars and have used it on cleaning everything....I wish someone would stock it here in CA...but all I can say is you have to see to believe. It works beyond belief....seriously.

The best cleaner you can buy. It works like pure acid. So ALWAYS wear gloves and maybe a mask if your not in a well ventilated area. Its STRONG. You spray it on anything and it will take little elbow grease to get it clean. I personally use it to clean my Wheels on my car. IT works great. JUST REMEMBER TO WEAR GLOVES AS IT IS SUPER CORROSIVE. Your pretty much using Drano to clean.

Spray Nine has been a staple in my home for over a decade now. I use it for tougher jobs but you can use Spray Nine for many cleaning uses, too.

Spray Nine correctly advertises that it works wonders when cleaning hard surfaces from grease, grime and what they call "other stubborn soils." It can be sprayed onto countertops, vinyl, formica, glazed porcelain and even rubber!

The instructions also claim that Spray Nine will work to clean stainless steel; but to clean stainless steel I would encourage you to find a different special cleanser that works specifically on stainless steel. I would not use Spray Nine on stainless steel--just in case. In addition, I would not use Spray Nine on granite countertops. It's way too strong for them! Use whatever you were told to use to clean granite countertops.

Of course, using Spray Nine is a snap. Just spray some onto whatever surface you need to clean--and wipe it off with a clean, damp cloth. If you are cleaning... Read more

I own an 11 year old car and the headlights had become significantly glazed over. The only thing the kit doesn't come with is a drill. (which would really drive up the cost of the kit) The steps are pretty easy to restore your headlight

1. Clean the headlight and tape around the headlight edges to protect the paint job.
2. Use the "yellow" sanding disk with the drill attachment. The headlight will take on a more cloudy, but uniform, appearance
3. Use the "white" disk and smooth out the surface
4. Use the "gray" disk (with water) and begin the polishing of the surface
5. Finally use the "orange" foam disk with the polishing compound and complete the job.

Instructions are included with the kit and are pretty straightforward. I would say that anyone can do this job in approximately 2 hours or less. The drill attachment is WELL worth the money.

This product is just incredible. I have a 6 year old Jetta which had deep pits in the headlight lenses. They looked like they had been sand blasted. [...]. The results were fantastic. The lenses now look as good as new.

Some tips from my experience:
1. If you're going to wash your car the same day as you restore the lenses, wash after you do the lenses. Some plastic dust blows around and there is some spatter on the wet sand.
2. Be sure to really protect the surrounding paint. 3M recommends two layers of automotive masking tape, which I did. But I did cut through in two places with the edge of the sandpaper. So if there is any chance of touching the body of you car with the edge of the sandpaper, put on 3 or 4 layers of tape.
3. The kit comes with plenty of supplies: sandpaper and plastic polish. The directions warn that there may not be enough supplies, but I had plenty left over, although admittedly the Jetta headlights aren't that large. I don't see any... Read more

When I saw the 3M Headlight Lens Restoration System, I liked the idea. Speed up my headlight polishing by using an electric drill? Count me in! It's got to beat wetsanding lenses for 30 minutes a pop.

In execution, though, it definitely falls short of the idea for a couple reasons:

1. 3M demonstrates the product on a mid-90s Ford Taurus, which has huge, round headlamps proud of the bodywork--perfect for the system 3M has created. If you drive anything else, you'll rapidly discover you can't safely machine sand your entire headlamp. The pad is just plain too big for many other applications, where you have tight radiuses, 90� corners, and lamps recessed into and/or abutting bodywork. You can cover the most important part on any vehicle, but if looks are a priority, you may want to buy another (manual) product.

2. 3M uses their cheapest dry-only papers in this kit. Most competing products use wet sanding or wet polishing; this one mostly uses dry sanding... Read more

I had wanted to remove adhesive residue from my car door - left over from those stickers that shops put on your doors - and had heard about this product. It works *great* (as I was told). It did not mar the paint, yet removed the adhesive completely. Now I have a nice smooth adhesive free door jamb. (I clean the door jambs every wash, to complete the look, so now they look especially nice).

Pros: Gets sticky stuff off with the quickness. I usually don't spray it on directly. I apply it to a towel and then just start wiping. I have removed decals, stickers, sticky residue, and tape with this. Everything comes out clean.

I purchased this to try to remove the adhesive left over from the Lamin-x on my headlights. Luckily i tried this on a corner of the headlight before i doused the entire thing. Within a few seconds, it had turned the clear lens a cloudy white. I ended up having to use a restoration kit and sanding away the white part.

On the other hand, I used it to clean an area before I applied some double sided tape and it worked very well! Just before you use it, test it on a small piece first.
